After a quick bit of lunch in the parking lot, it was on down the road for another 300 km to Grande Prairie. One certainly can’t complain about the highway to Grande Prairie. With the exception of perhaps a 15 km stretch, it was all 4 lane divided highway with a speed limit of 110 kph. We rolled along nicely at 100 kph for most of the trip. We didn’t see much in the way of wildlife at all today. A couple of deer on the side of road and Chris thought she saw a wolf too, but I missed that.
We rolled into Grande Prairie at 4 pm and are parked at the Walmart on Hwy 43. Us and about 10 other RVs. There are even a couple of fifth wheels in front of us who appear to be camping here for days. We are near a Mr Sub who offers an open wifi connection. We all drove down to Costco to stock up on a few more groceries and then came back to a nice quiet supper prepared by Jane. Chris has been fighting a killer migraine all day so she is off to bed early while I try to firm up how far we are going tomorrow.
