We left Cultus Lake on Sep 20th and spent 3 days in Penticton visiting friends before moving on to Salmon Arm and then Calgary for our flight to Manchester. We traveled fairly light and purposely left our big cameras behind, opting instead for our little Sony digital.
The drive through the Rockies was fabulous and we stopped frequently along the way to take pictures. Perhaps the best stop though was at Lake Louise. Pics are still in the camera until I find some way to upload them from the computer at Filey library.
Flight over with Thomas Cook on Air Transat was excellent. The flight was full and a little cramped but not bad otherwise. At least we had enough leg room. We arrived an hour early in Manchester after leaving 30 minutes behind schedule in Calgary, so that tells you the winds we had behind us.
Loving our time in Filey. Walking and running every day so far along the sea front and on the cliff tops. Sea air is fabulous.
Fish and chips are calling…….
