Chillin’ at TT Indian Lakes

We’ve enjoyed a few days of rest while here at TT Indian Lakes.  We are in the phase 4 area, along with about 20 other RVs, all enjoying full hook ups.  Yesterday we had a nice walk around the park in the morning.  There is a huge seasonal area here and it was interesting to see some of the rigs were all set up already, while others were still winterized.  Staff are busy sprucing up the park.  The sound of lawn mowers and the scent of freshly cut grass is definitely in the air.  Yesterday afternoon, we took a run into Batesville and then to Oldenburg.  There is definitely a huge German influence here.
Bullrushes at Indian Lakes
This morning started with a nice run around the inside of the park, accompanied with some resistance work .  We were both bagged after all was said and done.  We putzed around phaeton place until late afternoon and then headed for Sherman House where we both enjoyed an excellent feed of weiner schnitzel with potato pancakes and salad bar.  Wow!!  Don’t miss this place if you are in the area and like great food and lots of it.
Signs of Spring
We’ve decided to leave TT Indian Lakes a day early, so April 22nd now, and we’ll move eastward on I-74 to TT Wilmington, near Columbus, Ohio.  It isn’t very far, less than 90 miles, but it will give us a chance to pop in and say hi to some friends who live in the area.
