Cosy Cabins Motel & Campground, Woodstock, New Brunswick

Cosy Cabins Campground
We certainly can’t complain about this campground with it’s great view overlooking the St John River.  We booked in here for 3 nights with Passport America.  50 amp, pull thru sites, water and sewer, free wifi….. and all for only $15/night.  We were both surprised that they weren’t full over the Canada Day and Independence Day holidays but there is lots of room.  A few rigs have come in for one night but they all hit the road the following morning.

Clover in Bloom
We  celebrated Canada Day by walking into Woodstock to take part in the festivities.  There is an old railway path right in front of the campground, so we decided to walk the 2-3 kms into town  and back with our cameras and see what was happening.  Lots of flowers in bloom along the path.  There was face painting for the kids, a farmers market, BBQ and lots of entertainment.  We took it all in for an hour or so and then grabbed coffee at Timmy’s before walking back to our home.
Sort of good news about the Vue’s lighting and breakaway switch.  The boys at TC Trailer & Welding  installed a breakaway switch and rewired a new trailer plug for us this morning.  However, I tested my lights when I got back to our motorhome and they aren’t working.  Going back in for a few minutes tomorrow morning….with the motorhome.  It’s on our way to Quebec City anyway.  Should hopefully be a matter of picking the right contacts inside the plug. Planning to be back at TC Trailer & Welding for 8 am and on the road to Quebec City within the hour.  Overnighting at Walmart in Quebec City.  Wonder if we will be the only RV there?

Haven't been out here to see what you've been up to in a while. Sometimes I just get so lost in your photgraphy, that I forget to read!!! It sounds like the two of you are having a great time. Take care.
