Phaeton Place Fall Cleaning Follow Up

So I checked out a few threads regarding our roof cracks on Tiffin RV Network and learned that ours is not the first such problem reported to Tiffin.  I received a call back this morning from Don Boyd of Tiffin advising me to patch what needed to be patched.  The problem will be looked after when we visit Red bay next month.  I managed to find 5 ft of 4″ wide black Ethernabond roofing tape at a local supplier in Ottawa and  have already patched things up as best as I can.  This tape is really quite amazing. Very thin and flexible but also very strong and completely waterproof.

We took in a movie at Silver City this afternoon, Ben Affleck’s new movie, The Town.  Excellent movie, well worth seeing if you have the chance.  Lots of Oscar talk about this one.  The plot is all about a gnag of bank robbers from Boston and the jobs they plan.  Lots of action and Affleck does a good job acting and directing.  I patched the roof when we got home from the movie.  Good thing too because it just poured later this evening.

We are enjoying a quiet evening of season premieres on satellite this evening.  I’ve also worked on a few more photographs in Photoshop CS5.  Those seen here were all shot last January on a day visit Chris & I took to Salton Sea, a marvelous inland saltwater lake southeast of Palm Desert, California.  Hope you like the photos.

Darn! We probably won't still be there and won't be able to meet you in person. Oh, well, maybe somewhere else down the road.

Yes, I did enjoy those bird pics from the Salton Sea. Never heard of a green heron so that was a great one to look at.
