Avro Lancaster Bomber
I spent the afternoon visiting the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum located next to Hamilton’s airport while waiting for Chris’s flight to arrive at 6 pm. What a wonderful treasure trove of antique aircraft! I was fortunate enough to get some in flight photographs of several aircraft, including one of only two still flying Lancaster bombers. What a sight to see from the roof top observation deck. They offer sightseeing rides but understandably there is quite a waiting list to get a flight.

Chris arrived on time and before we knew it, we were having dinner with Lindsay, Casey & Jen. The kids did a marvelous job of preparing a dinner of broiled salmon, potatoes, asparagus and apple pie for dessert. We had a nice but quick visit and had to leave before 9 pm in order to get back to our campground at a reasonable time. Lots of traveling for both of us today. One more day and then heading south!
