The Day After……….

OMG!!!  Thanksgiving dinner was a hoot yesterday.  We congregated outside of Bob & Julie’s fiver around 2 pm and were chowing down by 2:30 pm.  Turkey with stuffing, spiral ham, sweet potato and green bean casseroles, scalloped and mashed potatoes, a wonderfully tart cranberry concoction, and Julie’s pumpkin pie and Barb’s carrot cake to top it for dessert!  A wonderful afternoon but ,boy oh boy, does it ever cool off in a hurry once the sun disappears in the desert.  We were sitting there with wool socks and sweaters until around 5 pm when I finally woosed out and we headed back to our site.
I spent a bit of time last night looking through some recent photos in Lightroom and Photoshop.  I’ve been trying  the one shot HDR feature in CS5 and am liking what I see for the most part.  It certainly intensifies the colors and detail in most photos.  I grabbed this shot of  two horses at a hitching while touring a ghost town near Apache Junction, AZ last week.  The lower photo of the yellow cab was taken in Red Bay, AL one frosty morning during our recent service appointment.

This doesn’t happen often, but we turned in at 8 pm last night and I never heard a thing until after 5 am this morning.  Pretty sad when you have to wake up from a nap in my chair in front of the TV in order to go to bed to sleep.  Such are the pressures of RVing……… :)
