More York Photos

Saturday turned into a bit of a rest day. We started with a trip to the Superstore in Eastfield for some groceries in the morning. Lindsay & Chris enjoyed fish nibbling their feet at a Filey beauty salon after lunch. We also went to see Scarborough Castle and then over to Brunswick Centre for a stroll through the shops and pedestrian mall on Huntris Row. Lindsay cooked up some fabulous baked salmon for supper. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and we have a few special treats in the works for my mother.

I’ve posted a few more of our York photos on Flickr. Blogsy won’t let me link to Smugmug so Flckr will have to do for now. Actually, Flickr is quite good and the Flickr iPad app I am using makes posting and tagging the photos on Flickr pretty simple. My photo editing has been done with two iPad apps, Photogene and Filterstorm Pro. The latter seems to be a little more full featured at editing photos, while Photogene has the simpler interface to upload to Flickr. Filter storm Pro also uploads to Flickr and Twitter but for some reason the app times out when uploading more than one or two photos. My work around for that is to save my photos in Filterstorm Pro to the camera roll on my iPad and to then import them back into Photogene before finally uploading to Flickr. A little clunky but it seems to work quite well. I expect some of my settings in Filterstorm Pro are the problem and not the app itself. Anyway, I hope you enjoy today’s photos.
