Blustery Day

Temple of the Four WInds
The wind has been howling for most of the day here in Leduc but so far we haven’t seen much rain today at all, which is odd because there is rain all around Edmonton, except for here.  No complaints at all but there is definitely a chill in the air compared to last week.  We managed to get out for another power walk this morning.  The wind had a bite to it on the way out but it was pleasant having the wind at our backs on the way home.

Chris popped into town for a few groceries with Sarah around lunch time while I stayed home today to work on some photos and watch a photography webinar on Wildlife & Nature Photoraphy put on by X-Rite Photo.  Juan Pons from the Digital Photo Experience was the presenter and he did a great job.  After the webinar, I got busy looking through some recent photos and found these two photos taken at Castle Howard during our recent Yorkshire trip.  Clicking on either of these photos will take you to my flickr account.
We’ve been searching for Keurig K cup coffee since arriving back in Canada.  We generally order from Coffeeforless while south for the winter and were pleased to see that they now ship to Canada.  Imagine my surprise though when our usual $100 order ballooned to $160 to cover shipping costs!! We won’t be paying those prices in this lifetime!  Boxes of 18 Keurig K cups sell for $12.99 in most brick and mortar stores here in Alberta…..Walmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Sears, etc.  With a little online research last night, I found a different online supplier based in Canada that sells these same 18 cup cases for less than $11.00 per case with free shipping by courier for orders over $60.  We placed our order last night and should have it by the beginning of next week.  Not a bad savings compared to the ridiculous prices wanted by Coffeeforless.
We are due for another puppy visit tomorrow.  Woohoo!

If we bought the "by the cup" coffee, McGuvyer would blow through $11.00 in 2 days…
