It was not a great night for sleeping last night. The wind was blowing very hard for most of the night and as any RVer with slideouts knows, toppers shake, rattle and roll when the wind blows, making it very difficult to catch more than an hour’s sleep at a time. The wind and rain stopped early this morning but it was definitely an inside day with the heat on until well after lunch.
I grabbed the above shots of birds at our feeder on Friday afternoon. If you look closely at the photos, you’ll be able to see the water drops on the birds from all the rain that fell yesterday afternoon. The expression on the little chickadee is priceless. Poor thing was not enjoying sitting in the rain having it’s picture taken.
We watched Fracture starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling on DVD this afternoon but lost the video on our mid coach TV near the end of the movie. I checked the other TVs too but the HDMI video feed seems to be on the fritz. I think I have traced the problem to the HDMI splitter in our storage bay. The splitter routes the main HDMI feed to all four of our TVs. There is power going to the unit but I don’t see any green LED lights to indicate the HDMI signal is getting to any of our TVs. Looks like something to get on to Tiffin about for replacement. They’ve been pretty good in the past sending replacement parts as needed but this will be the first time they will have to send a part to Canada.
