Pro HDR iPhone App

One of my favorite and most often used photography apps for iPhone is Pro HDR. I’ve been using this app for about 6 months now and find it is amazing. The app actually takes two exposures of a scene (one exposed for shadows and the other for highlights) and then the app stitches the two exposures together in camera. One of the many customizable settings within the app allows all 3 exposures to be saved or just the final version. This app makes HDR photography very simple to do with the iPhone. Last week, the app was updated in iTunes store and now there are even more features including post editing filters, text, frames and cropping. Sharing is also another great feature with email, Facebook, twitter, Flickr and Tumbler included. No sharing with Smugmug or Google + yet unfortunately but perhaps in the next update. I took the app out for a test spin this afternoon while walking Teddy around the campground facilities in Red Bay. I’m really liking the new features!

This app is high on my list … as soon as I get an iPhone.
