Yesterday morning while we were waiting for our call to Bay 16, I was scanning through some old photos taken during our trip through Banff & Jasper National Parks last spring. One of our favorite overnight spots was camping in front of Athabasca Glacier in the Glacier Park Lodge parking lot. The view was fabulous and I haven’t really had a chance to go through all my photos from our trip up on the glacier. We had a little time to kill this morning and I wanted to see how Photoshop CS5 panned out on my new Mac Book Pro as compared to the Windows edition on my Toshiba Qosmio. Some of the controls are a little different, command vs control keys, but most functions are the same. I found 5 sequence shots I took of Atahabasca Glacier, imported them into PS CS5 and merged them into this huge Panorama. Full size the panorama is over 450 MB! It’s been downsized considerably for this post. A little touch up using Nik Software’s Color Efex Pro and I’m really liking how this turned out. Clicking on the photo should open up a larger version in a shadow box. All comments welcome!

Great pano … and the people on the trail give great perspective for this mega river of ice. Makes me want to go there again … looking at photos from our first trip will have to suffice for now.
