Last spring! I attended one of Scott Kelby's photography seminars in Tampa and was really impressed with the set up of the seminar. It was an all day affair and I learned a lot about studio lighting and post processing. A month ago, before we left for England, I saw another Kelby Training coming to Toronto no less. This one features well known pro photographer Joe McNally leading the One Light, Two Light seminar at the Toronto Congress Centre. Seminar runs from 10 am – 5 pm and at $US79, it provides great value.
I left Waterloo before 7 am and was in the parking lot at Toronto Congress Centre by 8 am. The place is hopping and I'm excited about another learning opportunity. I even managed to pick up one of Joe's most recent books at a significant discount off the cover price. I tend to mostly go for digital books these days on my iPad as they are generally cheaper than traditional books plus digital books store much more easily in our motorhome, but this paperback is cheaper than the digital version so what the the heck.
Typing this on my iPad using the personal hotspot from my iPhone. Toronto Congress Centre doesn't offer free wifi unfortunately.
