It's hard to believe we've been at Tanglewood RV Resort in Sebring, FL for over a week already. We've been really busy getting the lay of the land and running errands. Tanglewood is a huge complex with so many activities to get involved in that at times it really is overwhelming. We've both been playing a little Pickleball some mornings and have managed to get ourselves included in many of the leagues. Chris found out about quilting classes held on Wednesday mornings and has got herself all lined up for that. We took her serger in for a tune up at Heart to Heart in Avon Park and should have that back in a few days. We've met a ton of people in both the RV Outback section where we are and also in the park model areas too. Hopefully their names will register permanently in our brains soon. There are so many park model units for sale in here right now that it is really tempting to buy a unit but unfortunately we are just not ready to commit to one location at this point in our lives. We like seeing new things and places……but perhaps one day in the future….. Although it is nice to know we are in one place until April.
Keith & Marie are staying at TT Peace River in Wauchula right now and they popped over for a visit the other day. It was so good to see them both again. They looked fabulous and we had a great time catching up over dinner outside on our picnic table. I just ordered and received a new stand for our baby Weber BBQ from Amazon and it works surprisingly well. No more putting the Weber on the picnic table and giving up a third of our table top space. The pork tenderloins were cooked to perfection as were the mixed veggies and green salad. We are heading over to see them in Peace River on Saturday afternoon after Jim & Jane arrive from England and Barb Johnson arrives from Palm Springs. Should be a great homecoming!
