Coastal Georgia RV Resort

It was sprinkling just a little when we pulled out of the Walterboro Walmart this morning. Most of the RVs that spent last night with us had already left. We took our time because we didn't really have too far to go today. Less than 200 miles to Coastal Georgia RV Resort in Brunswick, GA. We had a voucher for a free night's stay from last spring when we left the TRVN rally a day early, heading for Red Bay. So we figured why not have one short day driving enroute to Sebring. It gave us a chance to dump our grey tank and also get most of our laundry done prior to getting into Tanglewood.

This is a very nice park and ranks as one of the best Good Sam Parks on the coast. The park was about half full. We saw quite few Canadian RVs. Even one from Alberta. I thought about breaking out the power sprayer to give PP a quick wash before pushing on tomorrow but it was a little cool with lots of dark clouds in the area, so I bailed. There'll be lots of time in the next few weeks to clean up Phaeton Place and remove all the road grime we picked up on our south from Ontario.

We found a Lowes in town and managed to find a replacement for our 5' x 8' area rug in the front of Phaeton Place. The old rug served us well for two years but a new one helped liven up the interior and really cuts the chill on the tile floor. We grabbed a new welcome mat too.

I finally made it back into shorts and sandals today after long pants, socks and shoes for most of the trip down from Canada. It was still a bit cool and windy walking Teddy before bed tonight but tomorrow's forecast shows it will be warming up over the next week. We are so glad we managed to dodge the next storm currently heading up the east coast.

Our last day of driving will be tomorrow as we expect to arrive in Sebring by late afternoon. Going to take a chance on I-4 through Orlando. Sometimes it's easy driving, sometimes it's a parking lot. Time will tell.
