Mark retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2005 after 32 years service and Chris retired from full time nursing shortly there after. Their first motorhome was a 2007 Bounder Diesel. They upgraded to a 2009 42 ft Tiffin Phaeton QRH in May 2009 and in July 2013 they upgraded again to a 2013 Allegro Bus 45LP. They will be doing a lot of traveling in their “golden” years. Both enjoy staying active by hiking, walking, running, cycling, swimming and playing pickleball.
Photography has been a hobby of Mark’s for many years. He has always been a Canon man and has recently upgraded his equipment. His primary bodies are the Canon EOS 1DX & EOS 1D mk IV with an assortment of lenses. He focuses primarily on wildlife and nature photography but also enjoys HDR photography . He enjoys blogging about their travels around Canada during the summer months and snowbird regions of the southern USA during the winter months. The blog is also an excellent tool for displaying his photographs for followers to see.
Chris’s hobbies include photography, beading and quilting. Her newest challenge will be training Teddy, our new miniature schnauzer puppy who was born in May 2011 in Beaumont, Alberta.
